Lew approved as new executive director of CDOT

The Colorado Senate approved the appointment of Shoshana Lew as Colorado Department of Transportation’s (CDOT) executive director — replacing Mike Lewis, who served over the final year of former Gov. John Hickenlooper’s term.  She is a former aide to President Barack Obama.

CDOT has approximately 3,000 employees located at its Denver headquarters and in regional offices throughout Colorado, and manages more than 23,000 lane miles of highway and 3,429 bridges.
